Hello Green Voters,
With only 13 lucky days left until the Election, there is still much work to be done. Here at VLCV we recognize that you have probably received more emails from political campaigns in the last three weeks than you care to imagine. So, we’ll keep it brief.
In the next 13 days there are 13 activities you can participate in to help ensure we have the most pro-environment legislature in our history:
1. Write a Letter to the Editor
2. Attend a Honk-and-Wave
3. Phone Bank
4. Canvass
5. Volunteer for a Lit Drop
6. Stuff, label, and stamp envelopes
7. Vote early so you have more time to volunteer
8. Plan to be at your polling place on Election Day to hold a sign
9. Put up a lawn sign
10. Talk to all your friends about who you support
11. Post your support for a candidate on one of Vermont’s great blogs
12. Make a financial contribution
13. Take a deep breath and relax, it's almost over!
If you can commit to doing just one of these 13 tasks (besides relaxing) you can help take luck out of the equation. Elections are truly about hard work by the candidates and the wonderful volunteers who support them.
With that little bit of push down the stretch we will secure a legislature that reflects our values.
If you want to volunteer but just don't know who to get in touch with, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help.
If you don’t know who the pro-environment candidate is in your district, check our website for a list of all the endorsed candidates, VLCV Endorsements.
Don't forget to VOTE ENVIRONMENT on November 4th!
Best Wishes,
Todd Bailey Executive Director Vermont League of Conservation Voters
