Executive Director Todd Bailey

Todd was promoted to the Executive Director position in January of 2008, after spending his first two years with VLCV as the Associate Director. During the 2006 and 2008 election cycles Todd developed and implemented a campaign strategy that lead to several key victories for pro-environment candidates.
His work was critical in assisting Representative Jeff Wilson who defeated a seven term incumbent by a mere 6 votes. Todd has been actively involved and committed to working to protect the environment by sitting on the Conservation Commission in Hinesburg, VT. He is also a former member of Burlington's Conservation Board. He came to VLCV from the Howard Center for Human Services where he served as the Transition Coordinator at Woodside Juvenile Rehabilitation Center.
Todd has also spent time working for several political campaigns as well as his own campaign when he ran for a seat on the Burlington City Council. Todd earned his B.S. in Environmental Science, Natural Resources from Johnson State College in Vermont, is a graduate of the Environment Leadership Institute, and currently serves as a board member for the Vermont State Employees Credit Union and is a member of the Montpelier Housing Task Force
